Diagnostic MRI Tech Travel Job in the Crescent City

We are seeking a reliable and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team as a travel tech in New Orleans, LA.

• 3x12's day shift!
• GE Discovery 750 experience preferred but not required
• Competitive pay, ASAP start date
  

You will be responsible for administering the MRI exam, ensuring patient comfort and safety, processing imaging data and providing initial analysis to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares imaging equipment, performs exams, and acquires diagnostic images
• Communicates with patients and explains the imaging procedure
• Ensures patient safety while performing exams
• Processes and analyzes exam data
• Maintains patient records and logs all procedures performed
• Maintains equipment upkeep
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to provide accurate and timely diagnosis

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active state radiology licensure in Louisiana
• Recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must possess excellent communication skills, as interaction with patients and healthcare providers is necessary
