Division Description

Cosma Castings Michigan (CCMI)- a division of Magna International- is located in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are a casting and assembly facility that manufactures automotive body components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda, and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 300,000-square-foot facility with approximately 500 employees. Summary of Responsibilities

Provides tooling and manufacturing support by ensuring die changes are made efficiently and tools are maintained in a way that leads to effective manufacturing and quality products. Performs all external set-up duties as required for presses, including preparing tools, bolts, hoses, and lube systems. Serves as a member of the die change-over team and assists tool-makers within a manufacturing facility.

You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety and quality. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the position's essential functions.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience with tool & die making- journey worker card preferred; or equivalent work experienced will be considered
  • You must be available for overtime as needed
  • You must pass a urine drug screen, background check, and physical capability examination.
