Job description
To qualify for the Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic position, applicants must have three years of experience. This is a Full time position with a company that is family owned and operated.The ideal candidate for the Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic position is a motivated individual who can work independently.
Requirements for a Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
CAT, Cummins and Detroit Diesel Repairs
The Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic will accurately diagnose Diesel engine, tranny, hydraulic, electrical and air systems.
The Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic will have general experience in brakes, wheel seals, tires, clutches, suspensions, wet kits and fleet maintenance.
The Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic should be familiar with transmission differential gear.
Dealer experience in Diesel or Tech school is a plus.
The Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic should be able to document in detail all work executed.
The Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic should be willing to do preventive maintenance.
May perform physically demanding tasks, such as standing, bending, lifting, and twisting.
The Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic should manage own time effectively, ensuring maximum amount of productivity.
Basic Qualifications
Valid driver's license. CDL is a plus
Must pass a drug test and background check.
