Presbyterian Food and Nutrition Services provides quality food service and nutrition care to patients, members, employees and the community. As a Diet Aide I, you will oversee the patient tray delivery system and feeding which includes:
- meals
- floor stock
- nourishment
- monitoring of physicians diet order with food items prepared.
Participates in general food preparation and cooking for hospital patients, personnel and visitors.

Work Schedule: Varied Days and Hours
One to two years college level courses in nutrition can be substituted for healthcare food service experience
Preferred:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
- Support the Organizations Vision, Values, & Strategies.
- Serve as the departments customer relations personnel.
- Participate as a active team member for the department.
- Adhere to policies and procedures established by various hospital, departmental, environmental, State and JCAHO regulations.
- Serve as the departments quality assurance personnel in regard to food monitoring.
- Act as information liaison between patient and dietitians.
- Record patient preference for meal preparation.
- Instruct production as to the specific item and quantity of each food item to prepare.
