INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, is searching for a Digital Media Buyer to join our general account team!

2+ years media buying experience. Local candidates only, please. We are a hybrid work environment.

OVERVIEW

Execute programmatic and social media buys in an independent and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience launching, running and analyzing digital media campaigns on social media, and DSPs with varied goals, strategies and layouts.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet with internal teams to review and finalize marketing goals, strategies and media objectives for existing and new clients.
• Set up and launch of all necessary paid search accounts and profiles necessary to run desired campaigns.
• Monitor search campaign spending by platform to ensure that spend is on pace to meet objectives. Identify any problems or anomalies within campaigns relative to goals or spend and make necessary optimizations.
• Manage broader relationships and participate in client meetings/discussions
• Assist other agency departments to help implement new strategies, build proposals, and develop new possible service offerings
• Compile client data for reporting using various tools internal and web-based tool
• Prepare for tracking and monitoring online and offline goals and conversions.
• Seek updates and remain current on all ad platform rules, regulations and best practices to keep client campaigns up to current standards.
• Schedule and organize deep dive media analyses for each client to audit all campaigns, identify problems, opportunities. Prepare and communicate recommendations and action items to internal teams.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that media budgets and vendor placements are accurate, eliminating negative budget ramifications
• Ensure all fees, margins, costs, and digital spend is accurately tracked and represented internally, and within relevant media platforms

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• 2+ years’ experience in media buying at a media or advertising agency
• 2+ years’ experience in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn ads managers
• 2+ years’ experience building and running campaigns in DSPs – Basis, Trade Desk, and DV360 preferred
• Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in fast paced environment meeting strict deadlines
• Experience with troubleshooting and analysis
• Ability to execute campaigns accurately and on time with high levels of accountability
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, report, and optimize strategy based on metrics
• Experience with Google Analytics including ad trafficking, reporting, and pixel strategy
• Excellent organizational and process skills with impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to communicate, present, and collaborate effectively in-person, via email, and through remote video conferencing

MANDATORY TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Proficiency in relevant ad platforms and DSPs
• Proficiency in relevant social media buying platforms
• Google Analytics, DCM, Google Ad Certifications or Experience Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

SALARY RANGE

75,000 - 78,000 annually
