YOUR ROLE IN OUR MISSION
The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a digital media strategy. The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for leading digital marketing and communication efforts, coordinating marketing campaigns, content management, monitoring traffic, and responding to feedback. Various digital properties include websites, apps, email, SMS, and digital experience content.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
- Website management, app management, podcasting platforms, email marketing, and general marketing technology.
- Coordinates with stakeholders on the creation and development of digital content.
- Writes, edits and reviews content while ensuring established contact standards are met.
- Ensures that the digital media provides up-to-date and comprehensive product/service information that is easily available to existing and potential customers.
- Regularly manages an audit process across digital properties.
- Designs digital media campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
- Assess engagement needs/problems, identify opportunities and implement business development strategies.
- Assists in coordination and orchestration of multi-channel campaigns.
- Evaluates competitiveness in the market.
- Makes recommendations for improvements based on research, analysis, and best practices.
- Analyzes feedback and problems through digital properties.
- Manages end-to-end digital projects.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to align projects with the vision and mission of the organizations' goals.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS
- A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.
- Experience in digital marketing, internet/intranet website design, website maintenance or social media strategy.
- Business writing experience in a creative environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills, including experience developing and promoting web content and social media content.
- Must have analytical and organizational skills; advanced computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, experience using content management systems, and social media account management.
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit high degree of integrity; ability to problem solve, be a team player, think critically, collaborative, energetic, appreciate detail and accuracy.
- Must have the ability to juggle multiple requests and projects simultaneously, while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to develop, create, stage, and produce professional quality media and evaluate production effectiveness in meeting objectives.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to successfully coordinate multiple tasks.
