ConMet’s Digital Sales Manager is a newly created opportunity that will support the expansion of sales efforts for our Digital Solutions. The primary focus will be to become a product expert of our digital solutions. This role will act as a subject matter expert on the company’s digital platform and will be responsible for facilitating product demos, channel sales partner’s training, and detailed training programs to new and existing clients. They will have proven digital product expertise and understanding of the telematics industry from an end-to-end perspective.
ConMet Digital is comprised of a wicked sharp group of technologists. We operate like a startup with the backing of our multi-billion-dollar parent company. Our end-to-end Smart Trailer & Tractor solution drives operational transformation through digitization. It helps fleets connect and remotely manage their assets to maximize uptime and safety, while streamlining maintenance operations.
This is a remote job and will support the mid-west region of US.
What Job Entails
- Become an expert on ConMet Digital products & solutions: where our cutting-edge tech (IoT, Sensors, API) digitally transforms a fleet’s operations, maintenance, and safety.
- Be able to articulate to customers how businesses use our solution to solve everyday problems in their operations.
- Partner with Field Sales to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Deliver work that closes the deal: Discoveries, Demonstrations, Value assessments, Implementation
- Discover: customer processes and needs
- Demonstrate: how and where our Solution meets the need
- Value: Prove ROI and show its application
- Implement: into the workflow of the client with minimal disruption
- Act as a liaison between the product and sales teams: be able to translate technical features to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
For education/requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years experience in customer-facing pre-sales, customer success, product owner capacity
- Previous hands-on experience with customer evaluations, demonstrations, and deployments
- Consistent track record of selling complex technology solutions
- Ability to influence stakeholders based on your technical sales acumen and solid understanding of business processes
Ideal candidates will have
- Above experience in Fleet management or Telematics industry
- Prior experience selling telematics/IoT solutions to fleets
