Canyon Creek Behavioral Health:
Canyon Creek Behavioral is open and serving the behavioral health needs of adolescents and adults in Temple, Texas and all surrounding areas of Central Texas. Our behavioral health center will provide treatment options for individuals struggling with psychiatric health, chemical dependency and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.
Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. Canyon Creek features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs. Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Business Development, as an essential member of the Senior Management Staff, is responsible for directing the Community Education/Business Development efforts, and development and continuous refinement of the facility’s business development plan. Consulting with the Chief Executive Officer and other Senior Management Staff, this position designs, develops, implements and directs the business development strategic goals, philosophy, policies, procedures, and systems and oversees all of the Business Development Department. This position is responsible for reporting, analyzing and presenting current market data and trends and for recommending/implementing appropriate Business Development strategic plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required; Master’s Degree a plus. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ director or manager level experience in business with experience resulting in measurable results. Prefer: Previous healthcare business development experience with extensive community education/ business development and with direct experience developing managed care agreements. In addition, detailed knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
