About the Role:

Direct sales representative will introduce company products to potential customers and close sales. The direct sales representative will identify opportunities to increase sales, assisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans. Answer customers questions regarding product pricing, availability, features, and benefits of fiber to the home services. Must demonstrate sales skills and exceptional customer service. The position offers a base hourly rate plus an additional at-risk/commission opportunity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and yearly sales quotas
  • Canvassing assigned territories to present company products to protentional customers
  • Assisting management in identifying viable marketing and pricing strategies
  • Persuasive sales skills
  • Understanding of fiber to the home product and service features
  • Contacting leads through door-to-door sales, entering orders into the system and scheduling installation appointments
  • Distribute product information.
  • Develop prospect list or lead list.
  • Circle back and check on customers who are in the position to buy the product.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Work an assigned territory, often up to 30-50 houses or locations per day.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Ability to retain important information
  • Sound consultative selling skills
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers’ needs

Physical Requirements:

Medium work. Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. To be considered capable of performing a full or wide range of light work, you must have the ability to do substantially all these activities. If someone can do light work, we determine that he or she can also do sedentary work, unless there are additional limiting factors such as loss of fine dexterity or inability to sit for long periods of time.
