DSP Connections is recruiting highly skilled DSPs who have experience working with complex support plans for individuals with I/DD. You will be providing care according to and following an extensive behavior support plan and/or Medical protocols.

Salary: $24.00 to $27.00 /hour

• Staggered hourly increase based on longevity in the program

Shifts: 6-12 hour shifts, Weekends, evenings, and overnights (potential schedule availability: Monday-Friday 8am-9pm and Tuesday/Saturday 9:30pm-7:30am) Schedule will be agreed upon offer letter, with DSPC Management and Guardian.

Locations: Single home placement

Candidates must have:

• Experience working with the I/DD community (2 years or more)
• Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Training (Required)
• Valid and current CPR/First Aid Card (30-day grace period)
• Ability to follow a Positive Behavior Support Plan and/or medical protocols
• Possess knowledge of high behavior traits of physical aggression requiring OIS holds.
• Be able to work "outside of the box"
• Pass a criminal background check
• The ability to work 6-12/hr shifts
• Valid Driver's License
• Have reliable transportation available for each shift
• Work full time or part-time

Physical job requirements:

• Going up and down stairs
• Potential to be actively on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
