Job description
You will shape and implement the national strategy for Red Bull in music while collaborating to support Red Bull's media and commercial business, reporting directly to the VP, Culture Marketing. You will create and develop the strategy behind creative events and artist/opinion leader projects that provide consumption opportunities and increase the brand's presence in music. You will work with global, national, and regional leaders, ensuring execution of the national music strategy while building a long-term vision that enables the brand to reach more consumers, on more occasions, more often.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • STRATEGY & PLANNING

    Partner with the global and national Culture Marketing teams to develop the brand's music strategy

    Identify consumer trends, market changes, and competitor activities, adjusting national strategy

    Lead the development of Red Bull Music's annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant partners

    Build a unified strategy/message that addresses global and national goals, by applying appropriate assets and collaborating with regional teams

    Cement Red Bull Music as a leader in the space by ensuring creative quality, consistency, and relevance across all initiatives

    Oversee the establishment and maintenance of a portfolio of passionate artists who participate in Red Bull projects, and events

  • LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

    Be the national subject matter expert, coaching & developing best -in-class leaders in music

    Collaborate with appropriate leaders to ensure training & development is accomplished in the field

    Empower regional leaders with guidelines, tools, and insights

    Hire and lead an experienced team, setting clear expectations, guidelines, and standards

    Promote high performance by driving individual, strengths-based development and managing towards our goals

    Identify and train employees for succession opportunities

    Create a team culture that exhibits Red Bull's values, rewards effort, and celebrates outcomes

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
  • 7+ years of experience working with artists and/or brands in the music industry
  • A solid network in Red Bull's priority music audiences
  • A history of quality event planning in music
  • Leadership and people management
  • Identify and build consumer target strategies for music programs
  • Collaboration skills with teams across multiple departments to create applicable outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 30-40%
