Position Summary:
Based within our Analytics Based Management unit (part of our Management Consulting business line), the Director should drive and be a trusted advisor on client engagements that require a higher percentage of ABM effort. They should also be able to lead or PMO specific ABM projects and be responsible for the successful delivery of such projects that may involve junior ABM/Advisory team members or 3 rd party delivery partners.

They should also be able to lead or PMO specific ABM projects and be responsible for the successful delivery of such projects that may involve junior ABM/Advisory team members or 3 rd party delivery partners.
Responsibilities:
- He/She needs to be the driver of the work in terms of: organization and prioritization of tasks, planning of work, management of client and other ABM unit team members.
- The Advisory Management team should feel comfortable with the approach to the work being taken by the ABM Expert, allowing the team to delegate the BI/Technical related topics to him/her for its resolution.
- An ABM Expert must be able to liaise directly with the client on behalf of Delta Partners and should understand and be sensitive to internal and client dynamics, reading political situations affecting individuals, clients and overall project evolution.
- An ABM Expert must proactively participate in Business Development initiatives and collaborations: attending some specific meetings, adding ideas, sanitizing materials, sending mails with required approaches, producing small documents.
- An ABM Expert should be one of the key pillars of the ABM Unit, acting as a leader, generating a very good team spirit and motivating and coaching other members.
- An ABM Expert should be reliable enough to present in public or go to business development meetings. He/she will project a professional image and will be able to respond to content questions that are typically difficult to be addressed by other team members.
- In addition to the above, an ABM Expert must also possess excellent hands-on project delivery skills:
- Master SAS coding capabilities to fulfill data treatment needs.
- Structure and set up complex datamarts.
- Resolve any issues around data format and quality to unblock datamart set-up challenges.
- Independently define analytical and programming approaches to analyses proposed by team members.
- Use SAS to produce clean, well-structured, error-free and conceptually sound outputs to project analyses.
- Present project outputs to clients.
- Extremely conscious of the implications of privacy and confidentiality issues when handling customer data, and will be responsible of its preservation from the first day of the project.
- Master SAS coding capabilities to fulfill data treatment needs.
- An ABM Expert should also contribute to the overall growth and development of Delta Partners' ABM Practice. To fulfil this, he/she should be able to:
- Contribution significantly to the Product Development Cycle, being able to suggest Product Development enhancements and taking ownership of documenting them.
- Demonstrate mastery in at-least one Analytics hot topic. This is should be a product of continuous research and self-study in the respective topic.
- Proactively understand major issues affecting the TMT industry and investigate opportunities for analytics to add strategic value to them.
- Contribution significantly to the Product Development Cycle, being able to suggest Product Development enhancements and taking ownership of documenting them.
- Quantitative degree from a top school or previous relevant work experience
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- 6 years of relevant experience with similar responsibilities
- Previous senior experience in management consulting or in the telecommunications industry
- Solid knowledge on the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry
- Specific knowledge of a BI/Analytics topic - domain knowledge
- Solid knowledge of SAS programming and other languages beyond SAS. Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
