Responsibilities


As the HR Director, you will provide objective employee relations consultative services.

Your day-to-day work will be focused on:

  • Provide HR Business Partner consultation to leadership
  • Supervise a team of HR Business Partners who support St. Michael Medical Center
  • Serve on teams engaged in the development and updating of policies, procedures and action plans and participate in hospital specific performance improvement initiatives
  • Remain up-to-date and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements as well as CHI Franciscan Health policies and procedures
  • Foster an environment of open communication to create a non-discriminatory, safe haven for employees to access all their human resource needs through effective conflict resolution and an "open door" policy

You'll work collaboratively with our other Human Resources Directors as well as our greater HR and Talent Acquisition team. Your work will require a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws affecting all areas of Human Resources, the ability to independently prioritize work and to provide a high-level of follow-through, diplomacy and partnership with all levels of management and staff.

Qualifications


What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field
  • Five years of recent, progressively responsible HR experience working as an employee or labor relations specialist or in applicable management-level capacity that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities and two years in a lead or supervisory position required.
  • Recent experience in a large physician practice setting or other healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities may be substituted for two years of the degree requirement.

Pay Range
$54.12 - $78.47 /hour
