Kootenai Health has an exciting opportunity for a caring, dynamic Director, Individual and Legacy giving to join our team!

As the Director, Individual and Legacy Giving you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the Foundation Individual and Legacy Giving program. You will identify, cultivate, and solicit individuals for contributions in the 5-7 figure range and for legacy gifts. You will also develop and manage solicitation and stewardship plans for individual and legacy donors.

Additional duties include:

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 150+ prospective and current individual and legacy donors
  • Develop and manage stewardship plans for individual and legacy donors
  • Engage physicians as contributors and grateful patient referral sources
  • Execute a legacy giving marketing strategy, including regular networking with area professional advisors
  • Engage individuals in meaningful conversations about legacy giving, emphasizing Kootenai Health Foundation Legacy Society
  • Build trusting relationships with senior residents and volunteers at system facilities
  • Coordinate with other staff in securing sponsorships and donations for Festival of the Trees
  • Develop strong relationships with Kootenai Health team members in support of the Foundation’s mission
  • Provide direction and oversight to team(s) responsible for fundraising efforts, including direct reports and/or volunteers

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund development required
  • Previous health care experience preferred
  • Dynamic personality
  • Ability to self-motive to produce results under minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
