We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Director of Activities. The incumbent will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of activities in accordance to our established policies and procedures. Will create and adhere to a monthly activities calendar, coordinate special events and assist in resident council meetings.

Additionally, the Director of Activities will perform various other resident-focused tasks to ensure that on-going programs of activities are designed to meet our residents interests and backgrounds. The ideal candidate should have the ability to engage and motivate residents resulting in maximum program participation.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening.
