Director of Adult Day Services
Up to $70,000/year
Full-Time, Mercer County, NJ
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a Full Time Director of Day Program to join our Team to oversee the overall operations of at least one Day Program.
What We Need:
- Passion to advocate in making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by encouraging community integration.
- Oversee, develop and implement goals and plans (for individuals) in collaboration with leadership team, families/guardians, and clinical team
- Manage personnel and program coordination by assuring completion of ongoing training and daily coaching of staff to ensure that the needs of individuals are met; including teaming up with recruitment to hire quality staff.
- Management of overall operations including: medical, financial and compliance through guiding and leading staff on a daily basis.
- Must understand and have the ability to follow DDD licensing regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required or Master's degree in related field and/or a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a related field.
- Experience in Behavioral Day Services is preferred, but not required.
- Successfully pass background check, drug screen, and physical
- Prior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Valid Driver's Licenses that meets agency's needs
- Under NJ Executive order #283 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility) and provide proof of vaccination.
