What You’ll Do:
Got an eye for detail? Interested in putting together all manner of events and functions? The Director of Convention Services oversees all activities and personnel within the Convention Services department to make sure that conventions are successful, and our guests satisfied.
Here are just a couple of the tasks you’ll be responsible for on a daily basis:
- Interview, hire. and train all Convention Services personnel.
- Act as liaison between conference services clients and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Directs the scheduling of conferences and coordinates with other departments.
- Develop sales and marketing plans to maximize hotel revenue.
Where You’ve Been:
You’re someone with at least 3 years of hotel catering/sales experience and at least 1 year in a hotel management position. We’re looking for some who can communicate clearly in a positive and professional manner, can perform under pressure, and can assist clients in all their requests (even the more challenging ones)!
