Perrill is an award-winning digital marketing agency in Minnetonka, Minnesota, that exists to power businesses to win online. As a full-service digital agency, we help a wide range of clients reach their business goals through custom in-house marketing, design, and development solutions.

Perrill is searching for a new Director of Development and Technology to serve as the leader of our development/IT department which provides technology solutions such as web development, website maintenance, hosting, API integrations, and more for our clients.

The Director of Development and Technology reports to the President and works collaboratively with our team of digital experts to help our clients reach their business goals by:

• Being a part of the leadership team to move Perrill’s technology, business, and client initiatives forward
• Leading a team of developers, systems administrators, and IT professionals to architect, develop and deliver technical solutions for clients to help them achieve success
• Effectively managing employee workloads and resources within budget
• Providing technical guidance to developers and Dev Ops to solve problems
• Ensuring SLAs are clearly defined, well understood, and consistently met
• Prioritizing projects, clients, and internal work
• Effectively communicating with clients and prospects regarding value and project/tech needs
• Delivering exceptional client results and satisfaction
• Championing projects from inception to completion, including:
• Requirement gathering
• Uncovering true business needs vs. client asks
• Uncovering red flags and client blind spots
• Working with internal team throughout project to ensure client expectations are met
• Estimating projects by translating requirements to tech team and setting realistic timelines and expectations
• Ensuring consistency of process across the business through regular check-ins with team and facilitation of post-project analysis
• Understanding systems beyond our core product offerings that may integrate with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, payment gateways, social media, applicant tracking systems, and more as requested by our clients and prospects

Additional Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of development experience with 2+ years of management experience
• LAMP/LEMP framework
• Must have experience in at least 2: Magento (strongly preferred), WordPress (strongly preferred), Shopify, Drupal, BigCommerce
• AWS management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working directly with B2B and B2C clients
• Previous agency experience preferred

Salary: $110,000 to $150,000 base
