Salary: $72,000 to $78,000 based on ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule C-3 and experience.
The Director of Dual Enrollment provides administrative oversight to the college’s Dual Enrollment and Accelerated High School programs. The Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the college provides relevant, accessible, college-level learning opportunities as well as appropriate resources to support students’ success. The Director maintains key relationships with service-area partners and promotes continuous innovation.
1. Develops, directs, evaluates, and refines dual enrollment program activities and processes.
2. Supervises the Dual Enrollment staff.
3. Collaborates with the college’s Dual Enrollment Instructional Specialist, instructional officers, and high school administrators to identify, plan, and implement dual enrollment courses on high school campuses.
4. Oversees the appropriate placement and registration of all Dual Enrollment students, in accordance with college and ACCS policy.
5. Establishes and maintains relationships with the college’s Dual Enrollment points of contact at service-area secondary schools.
6. Oversees the initiation, periodic review and completion of dual enrollment agreements.
7. Conducts comprehensive, annual evaluations of the dual enrollment program and makes data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
8. Educates faculty, staff, and other stakeholders about program features and opportunities. Provides training, support, and guidance.
9. Develops, manages and coordinates reporting for Dual Enrollment grant opportunities.
10. Develops and maintains effective channels of communication to share program details with high school administrators, counselors, and students for recruitment and planning purposes.
11. Oversees the development and maintenance of dual enrollment handbooks and other promotional materials for students and counselors.
12. Works with Dual Enrollment personnel and other stakeholders to develop orientation materials and opportunities to prepare students for success in their dual enrollment classes.
13. Participate in staff development and in-service meetings.
14. Follow college policies and procedures in conducting program activities.
15. Serve on College committees as assigned.
16. Participate in community service activities to advance the interests of the College.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time, related work experience is required. A minimum of one year of experience with Dual Enrollment is preferred.
