Director of Fiscal Operations, CFO
Job description
This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating accounting, investing, banking, insurance, securities and other financial activities of the nonprofit corporation and its affiliates.

* Responsible for implementation of generally accepted accounting principles
* Responsible for compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
* Responsible for presentation of financial records to assure audit production
* Responsible for communication with CEO, Board of Directors, Policy Council and Program Managers

* Establish and oversee bookkeeping procedures
* Authorize disbursement of funds
* Assure adherence to fiscal policy
* Maintains adequate internal controls
* Establish professional relationship with funding sources
* Mentor program managers regarding budget development and cost control
______________________________________________________________________Job Knowledge – Must Know
* Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and accounting software
* Working knowledge of technology used in financial management
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership ability
* Deep knowledge and understanding of OMB Circular A133 Audit

* Must uphold agency personnel policies and financial procedures
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills

______________________________________________________________________Minimum Requirements of the Position
* Certified public accountant or, at a minimum, a baccalaureate degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field
* Five years experience with budget not less than $10 million
* Significant experience in and knowledge of sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance and accounting software
* Must be a US citizen; have a Permanent Resident Card, or an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
* Must have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS)
* Must have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or for any crime against children
