Position Summary:

The Director of FP&A will support all aspects of FP&A with a focus on driving achievement on financial objectives. These responsibilities will span the spectrum of forecasting and budgeting to variance analysis, systems development. The primary focus will be the development of a cadence of regular analytics to support an understanding of the business and its performance to forecast and plan. This role requires a team orientation and cross-functional teamwork skills. Strong communication skills supporting research and development, marketing, sales, renewal operations, and contracting are a must.

Essential Functions of this Role:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare budget to actual analysis and financial review
• Manage managers with monthly, quarterly analytics to support decision making and strategy formulation
• Develop key performance indicators to measure monthly results
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports
• Assist the implementation team in determining what financial data
• Assist with transaction efforts to ensure proper financial planning and accounting treatment
• Recommend and develop policies, procedures and systems
• Help establish and maintain systems and controls and data
• Oversee the annual and multi-year planning process, as well as the effective use of systems and tools required for implementation and reinforcement
• Builds and relays timely and accurate revenue and expense models and forecasts enabling management to make appropriate business adjustments as needed
• In collaboration with functional leaders, gathers and prioritizes organization-wide resource and investment requests

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field with 10+ years of experience in FP&A
• Experience leading, coaching and developing a team
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

Preferred Education/ Skills:

• MBA
• Hands on experience using ERP MRP (SAP, JDE, MAS90, Epicor, MYOB) with commercial business unit support.

Work Environment:

• This role operates within the company’s corporate offices; domestic and international

Physical Demands:

• May carry, lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds
• Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment

Expected Hours of Work:

• May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday.

Travel:

• Must be able to travel internationally
