Hotel June West L.A. is seeking a dynamic Complex Director of Human Resources at our
ideally located 250-room re-imagined property featuring two restaurants, creative event venues, and a spectacular pool deck. Hotel June is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible, lifestyle brand from the team that brought you Proper Hotels.
This key role possesses oversight of H.R. functions for two additional boutique properties within our portfolio: Hotel June Malibu and Venice V Hotel.
The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of Human Resources experience in hospitality (lifestyle/luxury). This individual will have a proven track record of HR Management and must be collaborative, approachable, and visible. Superior communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, are critical. We're seeking candidates who are well-versed in critical thinking, culture awareness and business acumen.
Must have the ability to be an effective listener and problem solver and work with all stakeholders. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to foster high levels of accountability through fair performance management processes. Our ideal candidate is a “hands-on” leader who enjoys being in the trenches with the operating team, and should have a reputation of exemplifying the highest standards of integrity, honesty and discretion.
The right candidate will furthermore be able (and enjoy) to work in a fast-paced work environment where the decision-making process is quick and expedient.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
