The Role

Signet is in the process of transforming its marketing function into a highly agile, customer-centric, and personalization-driven operation. Towards this, Signet has identified two key segments (bridal, fashion) that it wants to channel personalized marketing communications to create real value for customers and for signet.

You will work closely with the Segment Lead to understand segment strategy, translate strategy into day-to-day work for pod members, and lead the execution of the pod’s daily responsibilities. You will own customer microsegment definition, hypothesis generation for potential use cases to drive value, and strategic definition for each campaign. You will also define and maintain pod timelines & milestones required to achieve the personalization vision/strategy and must be capable of producing well-written, executive-level presentations to drive senior leadership alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pod sprint plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, to achieve the personalization vision/strategy

  • Work closely with the Segment Lead to understand segment strategy and ensure pod’s daily activities support its realization

  • Lead the team that creates and executes on pod strategies to drive value and deepen engagement across customer micro-segments

  • Own creation of the strategic brief for each sprint and support the pod by unblocking roadblocks throughout the sprint process

  • Provide a deep understanding of customers in the specific segment and the product portfolio needed to effectively tell the enterprise value story

  • Oversee measurement and reporting to ensure pod is on track to meet goals

  • Use insights from Journey Lead and Research Analyst to understand key activities & signals across customer interactions to inform pod plans and messaging

  • Oversee and advise the development of campaign copy & creative to ensure effective engagement among micro-segment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Development
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience leading, running, and measuring large-scale engagement and marketing initiatives.
  • Experience understanding and managing media plans across multiple channels/platforms and customer journeys
  • Critical & strategic thinker with experience in customer segmentation and campaign execution
  • Experience planning and measuring customer lifetime value including reporting program performance across key critical metrics
  • Able to understand business challenges, use insights, debate ideas, and develop an informed point of view
  • Extraordinary storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills; strong at building and delivering compelling presentations
  • Comfortable for leveraging customer data & insights to design meaningful experiences

The salary range for this opportunity is $140,500 - $175,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
