Job Summary
Building community is a core tenant of Together Credit Union and is embedded in our rich history. This comes to life through interactions we have in our communities, as well as within our organization. Our marketing efforts aim to deliver our brand messages through meaningful connections across our diverse audiences. The Together Credit Union Brand remains a relatively new brand, following a brand migration and subsequent new brand launch in 2019, presenting the need to continue to increase brand awareness in the communities we serve.

The Director, Marketing Strategy will lead the strategic planning efforts for our organization in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our brand marketing activities are fully integrated to drive authentic and impactful connections with measurable outcomes. This role oversees the Marketing Strategy Team and works in close collaboration with the group executing our plans, including Public Relations, Events, Sponsorships, Media and Community Outreach initiatives – all to deliver fully integrated marketing communications plans. These plans must deliver on our goals to grow awareness, expand membership, and increase member loyalty.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead, engage, develop and inspire our talented marketing team members.
Construct fully integrated marketing communication plans in support of the broader organizational strategy and in consideration of market dynamics.
Use data to help identify consumer trends, member needs and overall credit union performance in relation to our marketing activities.
Utilize existing and new consumer research to develop insights to inform strategies, which in turn inform marketing plans.
Identify key performance indicators to measure effectiveness of marketing plans.
Collaborate with product portfolio teams to identify gaps, opportunities and build associated plans to address.
Work closely with the team executing the integrated marketing plans.
Measures all solutions and processes diligently to ensure success and to create a continuous improvement mindset.
Build strong relationships across the organization and at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA a plus.
10+ years of marketing experience including strategy and brand awareness.
5+ years of marketing leadership experience.
2+ years of financial services experience preferred.
Demonstrated direct-to-consumer experience including direct mail and email.
Strong strategy development, with ability to translate into meaningful actions.
Proven ability to align strategic initiatives with the broader organizational strategy and culture.
Ability to interpret data and make data driven decisions.
Communicate with clarity and impact, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to support innovation and change.
High degree of collaboration and team-orientation.
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen.

Working Conditions
Hybrid work schedule with remote capabilities and specific times needed to be in office.
