Magnolia Bridge at Murrells Inlet is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Director of Nursing for our band new community located Murrells Inlet, South Carolina area. Our community offer retirees spacious, well-appointed Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care residences and a wide variety of amenities and services designed to allow our seniors and their loved ones to live life to the fullest.

Our Director of Nursing will work closely with the community Executive Director and Corporate compliance team to ensure all pre-opening preparations to include care equipment, guides and state inspections are in order. The Director of Nursing will responsible for managing and supervising our nursing team to ensure that care and wellness services for our residents meet or exceed our corporate expectations for exceptional care. The Director of Nursing will serve as a part of the management team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, hire, train, supervise, and resolve problems with staff. Works closely with the Executive Director to provide the best care for our residents in their homes.

The ideal candidate as a Director of Nursing will have prior experience in Assisted Living or similar environment. Preference may be given to candidates with prior new building launch experience. Candidates must have strong leadership experience and skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills, encompassing the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and professionally with people from all walks of life on a daily basis. Self-motivation and a service-driven mindset are keys to success in this roll.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State of South Carolina RN, LPN or Medication Technician License or Certification
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must successfully pass criminal background screening
