Job description

UPCAP is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Director of Operations. This position serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and supports the organization's mission to develop, coordinate and provide human, social and community resources within the Upper Peninsula of MIchigan. The Director of Operations, a senior executive position, is resonsible for organizing, overseeing and evaluating the day to day administrative and operational functions of the UPCAP organization., Working with program mnaagers and supervisors, the position will provide administrative oversight and direction of the program and service functions of this regional organization.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Master's Degree in Public Administration or Business Administration or an experienced level executive who has providen to be a capable leader in a series of increasiigly responsible public or non-profit management positions.
  • Prefer a candidate with three (3) or more years of experience in public administration at the executive level as a Director of Operations, Division Manager or a related executive leadership position.
  • The individual in this position must possess and have demonstrated the values inherent in social, economic and human justice and must be a compassionate, staunch advocate for the vulnerable, and less fortunate individuals in our society.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
