We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Oral Health Services/Staff Dentist to join our team. The Director of Oral Health Services is a senior level administrative position with responsibility for all dental clinical services at CHP of Illinois sites. This responsibility includes the authority to oversee the dental clinical care delivery, regulatory compliance, quality, efficiency, and the supervision of all dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants. Approximately 40/60 administrative/clinical duties respectively, though actual time demand may vary. (Re-assessing of scope of work to be done with CEO as needed). The Director of Oral Health Services reports directly to CHP of Illinois’ Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications:

Education: High level of specific professional knowledge and training in dentistry through extensive formal training in dentistry, including an understanding of the application and theory and practices of the profession to the operations of the organization, in the form of a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine. Current licensure as a Dentist in the State of Illinois. Current Federal and State of Illinois Controlled Substance Licensure. Participates in continuing dental education and maintains credentials as required. **Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly desired.

Requirements:

Work requires the ability to travel to various CHP sites on a regular basis and as needed to oversee clinical operations, moderate weather exposure, or significant driving. Also significant exposure to risk due to the nature of work performed, and potential risk in the field, with groups, or in-home, typically mitigated by multiple staff present. Moderate patient risk even with controls in place (sharp objects, etc.).
