If you’re passionate about leading, developing, and engaging others to deliver on our brand’s promise, the Director of Quality and Accreditation role could be right for you! This position is responsible for leading the team that ensures our 800+ sites across the country with our Champions brand are operating at the highest quality standards. Champions is growing at a rapid pace and is the only nationally accredited before- and after-school provider. At Champions, we believe no one in the industry provides a better experience to children, families, and school communities than we do.
This is a senior leadership role that will develop, create, and lead strategies that bring quality standards to life. Through these standards we build consistency in our programs and ensure we provide the best support to every child, family, and school community nationwide. The Director will also lead and maintain our national accreditation. This position will work closely with the senior field operations leaders to influence and support quality programming in all sites.
Additionally, the Director will act as a critical liaison between the field and corporate teams, with a heavy focus on leading through influence. This leader will work closely with our Education and Operations teams to support key programs that directly impact program quality.
Responsibilities
- Create, plan, and advise the company’s overall Quality & Accreditation strategy, from concept to execution
- Influence the development of programs that support quality and education standards that directly support business strategy
- Lead and maintain our national accreditation
- Engage, develop, and lead a remote team of Quality leaders
- Serve as a key advisor to senior field leaders on continual improvement of quality programming
- Make key recommendations to organization on strategic needs of the field that support Champions’ growth efforts
- Build a strong culture of high-quality experiences for our families, children, and teachers
- Works with the Center Operations team to ensure maximum impact of Quality strategies
- Understand and stay abreast of the broader Quality landscape to ensure we remain leaders in educational excellence
Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in the education industry; client-facing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- 5-7 years of experience leading large teams, at least 5 as a senior manager
- Be an entrepreneurial thinker and problem solver
- Ability to identify, develop, and engage cross functional stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and/or processes to bring clarity to project requirements, constraints, and opportunities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel
