The Director of Sales for the Healthcare division will oversee and be responsible for all energy/ ESCO sales, business development, and account management activities. This position will work with the divisional president and leadership to help shape the vision, brand, strategy, and execution plan for our current and future offerings and services. In this role, you will act as an engine for Revenue/EBITDA growth.

As a leader, you must be an extremely effective team builder, coach, communicator, disciplined in holding team members accountable, and willing to develop and implement operational structure at every stage of our process.

Director of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, accountability, and management support to the sales organization, including:
    • Create and oversee the structure, rhythm, and cadence of our sales organization, including sales team workflow and quota/goals.
    • Oversee the identification, recruitment, interviewing, training, quality control, and general management of new outside sales and support personnel.
    • Ensure timely and regular reporting of sales results, CRM/pipelines, forecasts, monthly book-to-bill roll forward, and other divisional leadership or senior management requests.
    • Work closely with operations and other departments to support project delivery and customer experience.
    • Support escalated communications internally and with customers necessary to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support in our business development activities to drive growth for our division and our organization, including:
    • Create and develop a program offering for existing and potential customers that adds value and differentiates us in the marketplace.
    • Utilize industry knowledge, relationships, and network to drive opportunities for our management and sales team.
    • Assist team with customer targeting, outreach, communication, deal structure, presentations, and closing of new business.

Director of Sales Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior business management role with sales and marketing operations exposure.
  • Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Experience in energy engineering, facilities engineering, design engineering, or design with an emphasis on Client Engagement, Client Leadership, and Sales experience.
  • Familiarity with energy code, rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Office suite and cloud-based tools.
