DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Director of Operations or the Director’s designee is responsible for overseeing construction projects; acts as representative and liaison between the City of Stamford or Stamford Board of Education and the building project contractors ensuring that all contract terms are met by the contractors, conducting on-site observations and checks on the work in progress, maintaining and checking the construction schedule and submitting necessary reports. Does related work as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field and at least ten (10) years of responsible construction management experience including leading large scale construction projects through design, build and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in architecture, construction management, or civil engineering. Possession of one or more of the following certification: Project Management Certification, Certified Construction Manager, AIA and Professional Engineer License

Pay: $126,658.00 - $162,661.00 per year
