MoveDocs is hiring a Director of Software Engineering to lead the build, design, and engineering of our MoveDocs SaaS platform. We are seeking a tech leader who excels from strategy to tactical implementations, can lead a team of technical resources, and is passionate about solving complex problems.

This leader will need to balance both short and long-term objectives. They will need to roll up their sleeves to build the platform to effectively bring new features and functionality to market. This role is a high-profile position that is well-suited for a person who has a passion for technology, has a software development background, and someone who can consistently deliver high-powered results. The role will report directly to the VP of IT.

Responsibilities

As a Director of Software Engineering, you will -

• Own and lead the full life cycle design, engineering, security, and delivery of new features and functionality for the entire MoveDocs platform
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to imagine, design, develop, test, and launch software that drives revenue, creates customer stickiness, and higher levels of platform adoption.
• Lead operational excellence of MoveDocs.com and drive the technical strategy that aligns with our 5-year growth plans
• Manage a team of onshore/offshore business analysts, developers, and QA resources located in Las Vegas, onshore throughout the U.S, Ukraine, and in India
• Participate in a 24x7 support model for the MoveDocs platform

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams as an architect, developer, tech lead, or technical manager in an Azure/Microsoft product and services organization
• Working experience with C#, .NET Core, REST API, GraphQL, Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL, Microservices, CI/CD, and cross-platform development
• 5+ years of people management experience, managing engineers, business analysts, full stack development and QA teams
• 5+ years of experience managing agile software projects
• History of delivering customer-driven software products at scale in a fast-paced growth-minded company
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams & multiple stakeholders
• Execution focus - self-starter with a track record of achievement who will roll up his/her sleeves
• Excellent project management, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
