Responsibilities:
Provides established leadership and talent acquisition strategy for the corporate and market based recruiting talent acquisition teams. Oversees the talent acquisition process and collaborates with hiring managers, HRIS team, and talent acquisition vendors to improve the overall recruiting process. Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.

  • Manages full life cycle recruiting and provides social media/networking strategies, process development, improvement and recruitment compliance, ATS/On-Boarding implementation and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Develops an aggressive talent strategy that aligns to the identified talent gaps while staying current on recruiting trends and technology.
  • Directs team(s), coaches staff, manages goals and provides performance management for direct reports.
  • Works in both centralized and decentralized recruiting functions; collaborates and builds relationships with key hiring managers for corporate and community operations with the ability to identify top talent and provide excellent customer service.
  • Builds relationships and collaborates with external recruiting vendors to increase efficiencies in the overall recruiting process. (i.e., iCIMS, Indeed, etc.)
  • Develops and establishes new recruiter training programs that align with company goals and partner with Talent Development.
  • Partners with HR and business leaders to drive talent acquisition strategies across multiple functional areas and at all levels.
  • Identifies, gathers and utilizes metrics to measure staffing strategies.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience of full cycle, broad based exempt and non-exempt level recruiting and a minimum of 5 years managing a team of recruiter professionals.
  • Extensive experience with social media recruiting, proactive initiatives, and creative lead sourcing techniques.
  • Experience interacting with senior level business management, industry contacts, and professional organizations.
  • Extensive recruiting and talent acquisition experience in the senior living industry preferred but not required.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Driver’s license required.

Knowledge and Skills

Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practice. Proven skills in interpersonal communications, diplomacy, negotiating and leadership. Excellent program development skills with strong creative abilities. Ability to think “out of the box”. Must have strong analytical, computer and organizational skills.
