Director of Web Strategy

The Director of Web Strategy will be responsible for overseeing the integration and optimization of key web functions on our portfolio of brand websites, including apus.edu, Rasmussen.edu, graduateschoolusa.edu and hondrons.edu. This role will play a key role in interfacing with the institutional stakeholders to ensure the brand and experience align to the mission of our educational units.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration onto a new CMS platform with minimal disruption
• Interface with SEO, CRO and Analytics team to ensure marketing strategies are fully operational and scalable
• Work with EU leaders to set the vision for the EU websites and from this develop strategies and tactics to deliver an exceptional user experience that drives higher funnel productivity. Prioritizes plans to achieve this vision.
• Ensure that all brand properties within the APEI portfolio are working in conjunction with each other to drive efficiency.
• Work closely with MarTech and IT to ensure that all web applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and APEI policies.
• Review analytics regularly for clues to site efficacy and usability. Regularly report on high-level use statistics related to site impact and site operations.
• Collaborates with Analytics team to ensure the teams are using these data to get richer insights and make business decisions for the APEI EU sites.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, product management
• Expert in Google Analytics
• Strong understanding of SEO and CRO best practices
• Understanding of audience segmentation strategies
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time while staying on-time, on-budget and adhering to high quality standards. Must be flexible and comfortable in an “agile” working environment

Requirements:

• 10 years’ experience in digital marketing, email marketing or journey management
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related equivalent degree
