Your Opportunity: The Herff Jones Sales Team is looking for a Director, Revenue Operatio ns join our team.

Here's How You’ll Make an Impact:
The Director, Revenue Operations will join the Herff Jones Sales Operations team to support transformation of the business and deliver value for the Sales organization. As a key leader within the team, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting the Sales pipeline, metrics, KPIs and financial performance our Sales leaders rely upon to drive activity and results. You must be a self-starter who is able to partner with key stakeholder functions across the enterprise to drive results (specifically, Finance & Operations). Ideally, you will have experience working in or supporting manufacturing organizations and have familiarity with tools & technologies required to synthesize, analyze, and communicate sales information (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, etc.). You are also comfortable translating data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and are adept at developing & leading high performing teams.

What We Want You to Accomplish:
Acts as subject matter expert, understands business direction, and makes recommendations; translates findings to business implications for Sales / Executive Leadership Teams.
Leads development of revenue forecasts & annual plans across channels / segments / product lines, in partnership with Finance.
Develops KPIs, leading & lagging indicators and other metrics & measures as part of an overall Business Management System (BMS) utilized by Sales leadership to drive decision-making, including Sales resource allocation and territory investments.
Accountable for work and deliverables supporting Demand Forecasting activities.
Partners with Sales & Marketing Category Management to drive improvements and ensure adoption of tools and processes.
Ensures consistency in methodology and drives process maturity,
Partners with Operations to co-facilitate Sales & Operations Planning Demand Review activities (S&OP); responsible for preparation and cross-functional communication.
Supports leadership and Finance in budgeting, forecasting & annual planning activities.
Partners with CRM & IT to automate reporting & data quality.

Core Activities:
Develop and manage a team of Sales analytics and revenue forecasting resources.
Support key initiatives designed to optimize revenue attainment efficiency for sellers, improve seller productivity, and remove barriers to execution for our internal Sales teams.
Build a trusted advisory partnership with stakeholder teams and leaders across the organization to understand their challenges and partner on building solutions to those issues.
Partner with cross functional teams such as Finance, Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Pricing and Sales Enablement.
Assist with operational projects and initiatives for the Sales organization, including deployment of new initiatives, procedures, or systems across Sales.
Data Driven: Ability to use data to design and measure key performance metrics for the sales organization.
Direct experience working in commercial sales organizations who sell via channel partners.
5-8+ years of work experience in Sales Analytics, Revenue and/or Sales Operations-focused functions.
Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) a plus.

Subject matter experience with demand planning, analytics, Sales Ops or Revenue Ops.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, customer service and change management skills.
Proven ability to foster collaboration across functions / stakeholders.
Proactively resolves issues & interdependencies, takes ownership and drives team towards value.
Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to develop & analyze data and reports.
Strong project management skills including scheduling, workstream management, risk management, status reporting and resource management.
Works well under pressure, has excellent verbal, written presentation skills with organizational and time management skills.

Education / Certifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
Advanced degree in business or other analytical disciplines a plus.
Direct experience with BI, data query & reporting tools (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience working with CRM systems a plus.
Experience working with manufacturing organizations a plus.
Competency in MS Office and excel.
