We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Technology Risk Management to join our Technology Risk Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.
Reporting Line:
Director, Securities Services, Digital Risk and Data Tech Risk will report to the Head of Securities Services, Digital Risk and Data Tech Risk, within the Technology Risk Management function.
Role Overview:
Director of Securities Services, Digital Risk and Data Tech Risk has end-to-end responsibility and accountability for providing oversight and challenge over Securities Services, Digital Assets and Data Tech including risk assessment and control evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the 1st Line of defense and assess their compliance with enterprise level Technology Risk in all matters of Digital Assets Custodian Technology and Blockchain related technologies in general.
- Apply understanding of systems and solutions architecture, data architecture, software development, operations, system life cycle, technical controls, etc. to anticipate technology risks inherent to the assigned areas of technology.
- Lead the assessment, monitoring and reporting on technology risks inherent to business activities, including digital blockchain, cyber, information security and technology risk concepts.
- Evaluate the design of controls owned by front line functions to identify control gaps, review and disposition these gaps, and track actions to resolution.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have significant experience in digital, cybersecurity, and risk management, and leading practices for control design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with any of the following is desired: Blockchain, Digital Assets, Cloud, Big Data, Insider Threat technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills and demonstrate a record of accomplishment and excellence in delivery.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to partner with a large array of constituents; ability to manage and influence change.
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum 10+ years of total work experience.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM would be a plus.
- Appetite for learning is also a must – opportunity to work on state of the art technologies and participate in associated industry forums.
- Prior work experience supporting a large, regulated institution, preferably financial services would be a plus.
