Summary of Position: Big Chill Beach Club is stoked to open up for our 2023 season full of epic sunsets and endless waves. We're searching for beach-loving, hardworking hospitality professionals to join our team. Situated in a picturesque venue with oceanfront views, this is a one-of-a-kind spot to work. If a fun atmosphere right by the ocean is your vibe, we want to hear from you! Our kitchen is currently undergoing a renovation so you can expect it to be new and improved for our 2023 team. Chill Beach Club’s Dish team is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Daily maintenance and deep cleaning of facilities. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Must Enjoy the ride!
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Opening and midday maintenance of facilities
- Clean and stock all restrooms
- Sweep and mop all floors: Kitchen, Umbrella Deck, Event Tent, Side Rooms, Storage Rooms
- Maintain Clean Outdoor Areas: All outside doors and windows, Pavilion Area, Beach Area
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Load, run and unload dish machine.
- Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer.
- Stock all necessary cleaning products.
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle. Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware is appropriate location. Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas.
- Keep dish washing area clean and organized.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen. Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
- Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
Qualifications:
- No previous restaurant experience required
- Good communication skills
- Carry heavy trays (20LBS at least) for long periods of time
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, squat, and lift during shift
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
Hours & Pay: This position pays
