As a Dispatcher at First Class Travelers A.E, you are responsible for facilitating efficient operations through coordinating vehicle and driver schedules as well as trouble shooting issues which arise due to driver and or equipment changes, customer needs, and other planned and unplanned events. Must be available to work weekends and holidays!This role provides an opportunity for growth within the First Class Travelers A.E’s family.

Requirements:

• One-year experience in transportation
• Ability to multi task and prioritize, as well as focus in demanding situations.
• Experience in Safety First environments.
• Communicate both professionally and effectively with both customers and drivers.
• Basic computer skills (experience in Excel and Word preferred.
• Experience dispatching buses or limos

Essential Functions:

• Communicate to drivers regarding their schedule, equipment assignment and customer needs.
• Verify Hours of Service and Fit for Duty Requirements through company procedures.
• Document on time, tardiness, call offs and operator issues.
• Coordinate last minute changes with customers, maintenance and/or drivers.
• Monitor phone calls, communicate any issues and review paperwork turned in by drivers.
• Respond effectively to: schedule changes, driver related issues, traffic, and /or bus issues.
• Provide high level of communication and customer service.
• Act as a liaison with customer, answer general questions and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Contact and assign drivers for additional charter request from customers.
• Schedule operators and buses accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bilingual candidates preferred but not mandatory
