We are looking for a detail-oriented dispatcher to dispatch our drivers to various customer locations in the Houston area. In this role, your duties will include communicating with our customers to record their fuel delivery needs placing orders, planning and adjusting routes accordingly. Another key part of the position is communicating and scheduling driver routes. We are a 24-Hour 7days a week operation
To ensure success as a dispatcher, you should exhibit extensive experience in dispatching trucks and the ability to multitask and work under high pressure. Ultimately, an outstanding dispatcher is someone whose organizational skills translate into exceptional delivery services.
Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Taking fuel orders over the phone and emails.
• Scheduling drivers to make fuel deliveries.
• Communicating with customers about fuel delivery details and times, with special handling requests.
• Planning routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
• Preparing dispatch documents, as well as other various documents.
• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery times.
• Not limited to other needs and duties of the company

Dispatcher Preferences:

• Available to work a 12-hour schedule
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in transportation or logistics would be advantageous.
• 2-3 years of functional experience as a dispatcher or in a similar industry.
• Pass substance abuse screening and agree to random substance abuse-screening as required.
• * Excellent verbal, written communication and customer service skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently unsupervised.
• Exceptional ability to schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customer locations.
• Experience with transportation software’s, such as Samsara and Creative Energies.
• Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

BENEFITS START ON THE 1ST. OF MONTH AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a flex position that will work Thurs.; Friday; Saturday Sunday
or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. You must be able to work from 12 am to 12 noon or 12 noon to 12 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
