Position Summary

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, located in Madison is seeking a motivated and organized Dispatcher & Logistics Coordinator for Aerial Lifts & Tele Handlers. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions

• Provide excellent customer service by phone or email.
• Keep records, logs, and schedules of the equipment they monitor and control, and the actions they take.
• Coordinate communications between customers, sales force, truck drivers and affiliated branches to ensure the on-time delivery of aerial lifts and support equipment.
• Ensure company drivers maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Submit billing for all jobs performed in the department.
• Obtain required lease agreements and insurance verification.
• Assist in setting up new customers.
• Assist in other activities and duties as assigned. .

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.
• Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment.
• Experienced in trucking and dispatch functions is a plus.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with NexGen fleet management software software is a plus.
