The Distribution Center (DC) Shipping Coordinator is an essential support role within Safelite’s supply chain function. This associate is responsible for directing carrier drivers to shipping doors, prepares shipping orders, paperwork, and maintains the log yard for accuracy of the daily inbound/outbound activities. The work you do helps get the right products to the right places at the right time to help our retail partners take care of our customers.

- Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm
- Competitive pay starting at $16/hour for 2nd shift plus $1.50/hour shift premium.

What You’ll Do
- Interact with drivers to coordinate inbound and outbound inventory shipments.
- Coordinate shipments via phone and email while maintaining receiving schedule.
- Complete vendor breakage claims and follow-up for resolution.
- Bill shipping orders, complete necessary reporting, tracking, and filing.
- Provide administrative support by answering calls, researching shipment discrepancies, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance to support your teammates.
- A great attitude with a service mindset.
- Comfort and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a plus!
- Resilience to work in a variety of environmental conditions such as seasonal heat or cold and standing for long periods of time.
- Willingness to support other functional areas of the distribution center as needed.
