The District Manager is responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day district-wide operations for multiple facilities. Accountable for ensuring the completion of projects, scope of work, contractual requirements, conducting inspections, labor & supply budgeting, and full P&L responsibility. Also, responsible for overseeing quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and OSHA safety requirements. District Managers must be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage labor and supply budgets as dictated from the Regional Operations Director.
  • Responsible for the execution of P&L; drive profitability, etc.
  • Responsible for forecasting labor needs for multiple projects based on budgets.
  • Responsible for scheduling special projects, contractual periodicals, PPS, etc.
  • Responsible for conducting meetings with customers and managers.
  • Responsible for achieving KPIs such as appropriate staffing levels, supplies budgets, and P&L targets.
  • Deescalate customer/team member concerns and address customer/team member inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for achieving required results of inspections and creating appropriate action plans for any deficient items.
  • Responsible for holding Account Managers/Supervisors accountable on cost and quality control measures to ensure sustainability.
  • Responsible for managing on-boarding and coordination of new services and new accounts.
  • Must be able to read, understand and communicate union labor contracts.
  • Build relationships with existing and new facility contacts.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in the service industry is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and budgets in commercial cleaning, facilities and/or other service industry preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
