The primary function of this role is to oversee the people, processes and operational financial responsibility of multiple locations. They drive overall excellence in training, coaching and supporting their management teams, setting goals and focuses on problem solving and improving processes, setting standards in LEADING the WAY in our industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Area Director is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Provides leadership for each manager in the market to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Must be available to work a variable schedule with a minimum of 50 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays which is to include one full weekend and close at least two nights a period.
- Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in Wendy’s and TSFR operations.
- Meet standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness for an area.
- Recruit and hire quality managers to ensure proper management levels in your area.
- Provide coaching, feedback and performance appraisals to all managers.
- Leads the way by working with each Manager to deliver profit goals and meet cash flow expectations, utilizes available reports to identify opportunities, ensures that correct operational procedures are followed at all times.
- Accountable for coaching, training and developing various levels of Management for operational excellence, supports all Wendy’s and TSFR training procedures and processes, involved in GM orientations.
- Leads the way in recognition and motivation efforts throughout teams.
- Has the ability to hire and terminate or participate in those decisions.
- Resolution oriented in all Employee Relations activities, provided needed ER assistance to managers and is proactive in addressing ER needs in the area.
- Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies, cash policies and implement all accounting controls.
- Controlling costs to maximize revenue
- Proficient in Microsoft (i.e. Outlook and Excel)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
