Job Flexibility
  • Remote: This position does not require employees to be on-site full time to perform most effectively. The employee role allows them to work off-site on a permanent basis, in the Southwest Region of the U.S.

Overview
Develop territory sales strategy that attains sales targets set by corporate objectives. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction within area of responsibility. Complete territory responsibilities to cover a broad range of customers (warehouse distributors, original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and fleets).

Job Responsibilities:

  • High level of technical knowledge of drivetrain and undercarriage product lines.
  • Implements sales automation techniques through strong PC skills.
  • Creates and implements territory sales plans to achieve business unit sales growth targets.
  • Professional presence across wide range of aftermarket customers (fleets, OEM dealers, distributors).
  • Researches market for competitive information and pricing to assure competitiveness within territory.
  • Conduct “fleet night” training classes.
  • Conduct product training classes

Job Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field or high school diploma
  • Minimum of 6 years or more experience in sales, marketing, customer support, business, or engineering.
  • Heavy Duty experience (strongly preferred)
  • Prefer Meritor Automotive products and field sales experience.
  • Demonstrated strong product and technical knowledge.
  • The Aftermarket organization has the right to deem a person qualified for a position if that person has had one or more years’ experience in the position or similar position
Bonus Potential
This position is eligible for Meritor’s Incentive Compensation Plan, which offers payouts based on company performance.

Base salary:
%24118,000 - %24125,000
