Overview:
Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a leader who is seeking purpose driven work and committed to reducing adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide to oversee the growth strategy for our outpatient clinics across the United States.

Embark Behavioral Health operates programs across the country that support adolescents and their families by offering a full continuum of care from our outpatient clinics and virtual care platforms to residential and wilderness therapy environments. Our outpatient clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance. Embark has a deep legacy of over 25 years serving adolescents; works with families to adjust treatment in real time to improve results; treats the entire family using an evidence-based approach; and offers the highest levels of quality care and safety standards.


This position is located at Embark's support office in Chandler, AZ. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:

As the Division CEO of Outpatient Clinics, you will own every aspect of this business for Embark. We will rely on you to support our strategy to address the current youth mental health epidemic by opening and operating outpatient clinics in the top metro markets across the U.S. If you join our team, you will be challenged with the following responsibilities and enjoy all the benefits that go along with that:

  • Building a business that has a direct impact on reducing the levels of anxiety, depression and suicide in teens and young adults throughout the country.
  • Developing the strategy for operationalizing Embark’s expansion plans into the top metro markets in the U.S.
  • Creating an operational playbook designed to create efficiency, consistency and scalability with new clinic openings.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of quality care and safety standards across all clinics.
  • Partnering with a dynamic leadership team on delivering results across all divisions.
  • Leading with a servant mindset and developing, engaging and motivating a team of experienced, dedicated and passionate leaders in the behavioral health industry.
Qualifications:
  • Required: Deep experience in multi-site operations, preferably in healthcare or a similar line of work.
  • Strong experience in creating and implementing systems and processes to create significant scale at a rapid pace that produces high quality outcomes.
  • Significant experience in building, developing and retaining a best-in-class team located across multiple states and regions.
  • Mission driven servant leadership.
  • A proven ability to entrepreneurially lead a growth organization by creating a clear vision for execution centered around operational excellence and safety.
  • Passion for hiring and developing strong leaders and building a diverse culture that leads to improved employee performance, retention and morale.
  • Ability to create a business plan and manage to financial and operational budgets for a high growth business and each of the individual programs.
  • Experience creating operational playbooks and best practices that allow for building significant scale while ensuring high quality operations and safety standards.
  • Significant leadership experience in multi-site healthcare operations - minimum of ten (10) years of experience operating across multiple sites and programs is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding licensing, documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies and vendors is preferred.
