Job description
- Division director of human capital in the central office of human resources, ensuring that all federal and state laws, agency policies, and state regulations are adhered to for the recruitment of new applicants.
- Ensures the posting of all vacant positions for the agency are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Provides guidance to the divisional training director, ensuring that HR managers/divisional liaisons receive adequate training for all human resources processes and changes.
- Provides guidance and assistance for recruiting events throughout the state and some out of state.
- Provides guidance and assistance to the divisional visual/digital media director, ensuring accuracy of advertisements and adherence to agency policies and state regulations.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in managing Human Resources Programs.
SCDC Minimum Requirements: (Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
- A Bachelor's degree;
- Four (4) years of experience in Human Resource Management Programs:
- One (1) year of supervisory/management experience in Human Resources;
- An Associate's degree;
- Five (5) years of experience in Human Resource Management Programs;
- One (1) year of supervisory/management experience in Human Resources;
- A High school diploma;
- Seven (7) years of experience in Human Resource Management Programs
- One (1) year of supervisory/management experience in Human Resources;
