Under the direction of the Medical Services Administrator:
  • Directs and manages the Division of Clinical Support Services.
  • Oversees medical support and specialty services such as specialty clinics, radiology, telehealth expansion, and expansion of all existing medical initiatives.
  • Monitors the daily operation of the agency's clinical support initiatives to include specialty clinics, radiology, telehealth expansion, mobile medical services, and expansion of all existing medical initiatives.
  • Researches and develops proposals for implementation and expansion of medical services to include specialty clinics, radiology, laboratory services, pharmacy services, telehealth, mobile services, and other new and existing medical initiatives.
  • Coordinates with external agencies, other intra-agency divisions and institutional staff to implement services statewide.
  • Schedules and/or attends meetings to represent the interests of clinical support services as needed.
  • Coordinates HR functions and budget elements to include budget year requests for the Division of Clinical Support Services.
  • Serves as liaison with IT/RIM for medical quality improvements and training with IT and NextGen; attends all meetings for upgrading and programmatic changes.
  • Oversees and manages telehealth program, mobile medical services, and the expansion thereof.
