Anticipated wage range for this position is $6,666 - $9,583 / month

The Internal Document and Communications Specialist is responsible for the management of internal documents, Forms, and the company Intranet. This includes managing the centralized storage of documents, coordination of document control procedures, and ensuring that all employees have access to the latest versions of documents. You will also be responsible for tracking changes and updates to key documents, as well as coordinating document review and approval processes.
In addition to document management duties, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Intranet, including maintenance of the navigation structure, content guidance oversight and ongoing engagement with content managers and portal champions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and Maintain document storage and Intranet Information Architecture
- Management of internal documents and forms (organizing, storing, and maintaining document control procedures)
- Track changes and updates to documents and forms, coordinate document review and approval processes
- Administer document management and intranet applications
- Manage Document Control policies and procedures
- Obtain, refine, and articulate business stakeholder needs for document management and Intranet content
- Aid users in locating electronic information.
- Maintain and facilitate governance processes in collaboration with Technology Lead and Business Stakeholders
- Support Document Retention procedures
- Evangelize Intranet content strategy and best practices for content managers
- Gather feedback and analytics to refine and refresh the Intranet, ensuring content is optimized for search
- Reporting portal communications outcomes to senior executives and modifying communication strategy as needed to meet the changing needs of the business

- Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including excellent writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the needs of SRG.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on time.
- Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups.
- Consistently demonstrates strong business acumen and judgment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to build relationships and collaborate across all departments of SRG.
- Strong, dedicated, team member who can work effectively with partners and staff at all levels.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant IT, document management or communications experience; work experience in a consulting, PR, or other professional services firm strongly preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages; experience with web and digital content preferred.
