ENSCO’s Lead from the Front (LFF) Military Transition Program is an approved SkillBridge internship under DoDI 1322.29. The LFF program provides eligible service members the opportunity to gain work experience through industry specific training within the last 180 days of military service. Eligible service members in any branch, regardless of rank, enlisted, or officer are encouraged to apply. The training and work experience provided may vary depending the internship.

The LFF program is an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge program. SkillBridge participants continue to receive payment and benefits through their respective military branch as active-duty service members. Official authorization from the selected service members unit commander to participate in SkillBridge must be provided prior to the start of the internship.

(SkillBridge) Eligibility:

  • Has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • Is within 180 days of separation or retirement
  • Will receive an honorable discharge
  • Has taken any service Transition Assistance Program
  • Received Unit Commander approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge

ENSCO, Inc., Is a diverse engineering, science, and advanced technology company, and is seeking a highly motivated military intern to work in Information Services. The intern will be trained in conjunction with the Salesforce program Salesforce Military: Learn Tech Skills, Land A Dream Job.

Learning objectives will include but are not limited to assisting with the following:

  • Complete assigned Salesforce training Modules to earn at a minimum Salesforce Administrator certification(s)
  • Map training to Customer Responsibility Matrix
  • Work with divisional points of contact and application administrators to ensure controls are being met
  • Establish frequency of review/update to ensure controls are being maintained
  • Participate in weekly Cyber/IST meetings to update team on status
  • Establish meeting frequency with divisional POCs and application administrators

Qualifications Required (Skills) :

  • Cybersecurity, IT or networking experience
  • Experience using computers and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with good organization skills.
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Familiarity implementing controls for compliance
  • Data security/assurance experience
  • Commutable distance (50 miles) to either our Springfield, Virginia, Melbourne, Florida, or Endicott, New York offices by the start of the program
