Job Overview:
Greet and acknowledge all arriving and departing guest. Ensure guest are adhering to Dress Code and control flow of guests entering the restaurant.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Restaurant policies/service procedures/standards.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction at the door.
- Welcome and greet guests in a positive, friendly manner,
- Inspect the Restaurant environment and entrance area, ensuring that all standards are met; rectify any deficiencies; always maintain cleanliness.
- Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Accommodate all requests for information courteously.
- Communicate V.I.P. arrivals and special requests to designated personnel for follow up.
- Extend courteous departures as guests leave the restaurant and invite them to return.
- Abide by all state and federal law while enforcing restaurant policy.
- Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant.
- Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
- Communicate with management and service team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests.
