Job description
As a Driver/BHT at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions in the transportation of clients. These functions include - but are not limited to - transporting clients curb-to-curb from their home to outpatient programs, from Aspire facilities to their destination after discharge, transfers to and from one facility to another, providing urgent transportation to area hospitals, effectively assisting in de-escalation of clients that are in emotional crisis, advising Transportation Supervisor or Transportation Manager of any unusual occurrences, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections, and assisting unit staff while not driving. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)
- Level II Background clearance
- Class C Commercial Driver License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- Florida Department of Transportation physical
- Defensive Driver, CPR/First Aid, and Passenger Assistance certificates
- High School Diploma or GED
